Corruption is dishonest action that destroys people’s trust. 
The actual definition of corruption means evil, decay and dishonesty. 
Corruption is a government malpractices that pretends to be for the protection of people, but in other hands they are selecting vendors in awarding contracts based on their personal benefits.

Corruption can he defined as anti‐social behavior conferring improper benefits contrary to legal and moral norms, and which undermines the authorities’ capacity to secure the welfare of all citizens.

Based on the adequate research on corruption, the main cause of corruption are, Greed of money, power, Luxury or any other materialistic desires. Higher levels of market and political monopolization. Low levels of democracy, weak civil participation and low political transparency. Higher levels of bureaucracy and inefficient administrative structures.

The main cause of corruption in some countries are persistent phenomenon that gives rise to public administration mainly the discovery of oil and natural gas are two major events believed to have led to the sustained increase in the incidence of corrupt practices.
