We are raising money to buy calling cards for those refugees in detentions to call their lawyers and families
They are many rejected refugees and asylum seekers in various detention right now, The fact that their application for refugee and asylums has been rejected by the authority
They do not have any recourse to the legal system because of their lack of legal status in the country,
They do not have money to pay the legal fee to their lawyers, no family assistance whatsoever, no access to a government fund to pay their legal statutory fee, no money to make calls to their separated loved ones,
The human rights meaning is based on the right of freedom which is an ideal for recognition of the international human rights law,
The legal norms are in line with the regulations as guaranteed by the rights of humans.
Consequently to the 1966 international covenant on civil and political rights and the international covenant on economic, social, and cultural rights, along with the universal decoration of human rights that formed the international bill of human rights,
The bill set up the civil, cultural, economic, and political rights, which is the basic fundamental birthrights of human being that applies to everyone everywhere,
Ekens Foundation’s goal is to assure the basic human rights in support of their humanitarian responses together to reduce the level of world poverty and injustice based on a lack of interest to seek justice by folks during their human rights violations by those supposed to protect them, While we help to strengthen the role of civil society in the following objectives: Human Rights Advocacy, Police and Police Welfare Reforms, Prison and Immigration Reforms, International Research and Recommendations, Conflict Negotiation, International Treaties, and Resolution Center, Political Mobilization, Last minutes justice on Across-Border Justice including Gender quality.
Your donation would enable us to assist them by way of supplying their need no matter how little.
Ekens Foundation is to track, monitor, and document the report of the pre and post-deportation of refugees and asylum seekers and human rights violations to use such reports to lobby the governments in host countries to change their asylum policies on what happens to rejected asylum seekers in post-deportation which is still largely unknown as they might be apprehended by state security like border services and sent to prison, tortured, tried for treason, or even killed while evidence is increasing that many rejected asylum seekers who were deported are grossly mistreated in receiving countries as deporting countries do not monitor what happens to subjects after deportation
