STATEMENTS OF FACTS ON THE 2019 IMO STATE GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION

STATEMENTS OF FACTS ON THE IMO STATE GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION
The Imo State gubernatorial election should be declared inconclusive for the following reason.
The Section 179 of the 1999 constitution of the federal government of Nigeria (FGN) with amended 2011 Stipulated that A candidate for an election of the office of a governor of a State shall be deemed to have been duly elected to such office where being the only candidate nominated for election.
(a) He has a majority of YES votes over NO votes cast at the election and;
(b) He has not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election in each of at least two-thirds of all the local government areas in the state.

CIRCUMSTANCES
Thus the person currently declared winner in Imo State namely Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) only won 9 local government instead of 18 local government out of the 27 locals government in Imo State as required by the Constitution, Therefore this is a violation to the 1999 Constitution of the (FGN)

VIOLATION AND CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
The REC has violated the Constitution and compromised by conflicting the of interest,

REMEDY
I urge the Imo people to remain calm while these issues would be looked into by the competent court jurisdiction,

INVESTIGATION
Our preliminary investigation showed that Uche Nwosu, the candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) won 20 local government out of the 27 local government in Imo State because we electronically monitored the election, We would elaborate more facts as the invents unfolds.
