Today we are appealing to you all to kindly observe a moment of silence of contemplation to reflect on those vulnerable rejected refugees and asylum seekers who died at the hands of the Canada Border Service Agency the CBSA during deportation after their refugees and asylum application was rejected.
Our research has shown that many have left their beloved families forever in these struggles while the officers responsible are still enjoying the immunity from their work.
It’s the government duty to listen to survivors and it’s the duty of media agencies to adequately report and create awareness on these kinds of suffering from refugees
Our research observed that the refugee’s oversight agencies such as the United Nation High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) the RefWorld, The Amnesty International, the Red Cross, the Directorate department of the (CBSA) Ottawa, have not been living up to the expectation, Thus they have not been able to separate themselves from the influence of the national government of the host countries.
They have not the morals to condemn the integrity department of the (CBSA) on their collaboration with the various indictable countries origins of refugees applicant by using the same aggressors and agents of persecution or the so-called persecutory state as a source of information in the determination of refugees procedural processes in violation of the 1951 Geneva convention and it applicable protocols
Thus, we continue to appeal to the Prime Minister of Canada to establish an independent oversight agency, the Canada Immigration Ombudsman Commission
The Immigration Ombudsman that would take charge of the oversights such as investigating all the relevant complaints against the (CIC) and the (CBSA) officers including other relevant federal agencies dealing with Refugees and Immigration matters.
These would Include the reduction of immigration backlog in the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and the Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA)
Thanks in advance
